I love me a stylish decorista!

Her and her boyfriend renovated this amazing spread and it is total decorista perfection!
Stripes on walls, deep black curtains, sparkly accessories, amazing artwork, glossy black furniture and lucite goodness. Did I mention that I am crazy about the art?

on this lovely sunday I'm inspired by...

The perfect mix of comfort and style...complete with an oversized mirror, plush flokati rug, romantic country seating with a mix of modern pillows in blues, blacks and creams.
The stylishness of this demure little kitchen. The gorgeous chandelier and marble countertop make it sophisticated and luxe. Add a turquoise little toaster and some personal treasured items and it downplays the grandeur perfectly.
The beauty of this dynamic breakfast nook. Perfectly situated in the corner, modern chairs make the perfect match for the Saarinen table. The art wall with black and white photographs are the ultimate warm welcoming finish.

Aren't these images lovely?

ULTIMATE DOMESTIC BLISS

It's back to the grind this lovely Tuesday morning.
I thoroughly enjoyed my lovely long days in Palm Springs, doing nothing but exactly what I wanted to do. Oh, how I already miss the luxurious vacation moments of a day by the pool, waking up late, a game of tennis and long sighs filled with the morning air.

At the moment, I can't think of anything better than a messy bed on a weekend morning.
It's the ultimate domestic bliss.
Sunlight shining through the windows, a mug full of my favorite coffee, a lovely book or a magazine....these are the moments that make me stark raving in love with life!
I am so ready for my next vacation...

Did everyone enjoy the long weekend?

Inspired decorating...mexican romance

I am always inspired by different cultures and the emotions that go into the surroundings.
Being that I am part latina, I love anything and everything with a little bit of culture.
These gorgeous rooms conjure up feelings of 'mexican romance' to me...
I am just smitten with them.

Makes me really want to have one of these Vintage Bolivian Rugs from Furbish, stat!
They are gorgeous, no?

ROCK CHIC: Bohemian meets femininity

Chocolate Towers is the lavish London home of Sera Hersham Loftus, interior designer to rock music’s top celebrities. We have all seen her home before in magazines, but I am just crazy about all of the romance + glamour in the different areas of her home. Completely feminine, the coziness just calls me in. What fun it would be to take in an afternoon of tea with her and her delicious digs.
Feast your eyes on the fabulous vignettes...

The dressing room is almost like a mysterious gypsy caravan. so cool.

Home Tour: tv host + lifestyle blogger Karen Bertelsen

I am just crazy about bookcases.
So you can imagine that when I stumbled upon this photo, I took a second look. As I dissected this photo, I couldn't take my eyes off that ridiculously cozy looking chair. Who wouldn't want to sit in that thing for hours? The cowhide rug + silver side table combo left me wanting more.

Style at Home did a full feature on Miss Karen (the art of doing stuff author)and her lovely home. She did it herself and it she did it in under 1 month! I am all about a girl who gets things done!
This woman has totally inspired me, I can spot out plenty of easy-to-achieve looks that I wan't to incorporate into my own home...hope she inspires you too!

I love the dining room! The wood and brick together with gold framed portrait art...gorgeous!
Don't even get me started on this living room. That mirror is my new best friend!

sweet indulgences...a purple bedroom

Purple will always be my most favorite color! I am so thrilled it is showing up everywhere this fall. I am even wearing my favorite purple shirt today! I love imagining what it would be like to decorate an entire room in purple. I don't think I could actually ever do it, but I thoroughly enjoy being inspired by the lushness + indulgence of this all purple bedroom.
The wallpaper is Oh so fab! I can't get over the headboard and the two-toned drapes and I think I am in love with that rug too! fun fun fun!

NY Times Room Makeover...indian sanctuary by Vicente Wolf

Check out this spare room makeover of Harrice Miller, a fab costume jeweler in Manhattan.
Now she has the perfect place to entertain her rockstar clients.
Mastermind Vicente Wolf tricked it out with a $5,000 budget. Complete with hot pink walls, a purple ceiling, gold accents and uber luxurious fabrics. I think its adorable, especially for the kind of clients she entertains.

NYC city girl style...Olatz Schnabel for House Beatiful

Thank goodness for Paloma who scanned this fabulous spread, the second I saw it I fell hard.
I am absolutely obsessing over this glamorous bedroom right now. Hello my favorite colors purple + ever so dreamy light blue! The palm tree artwork is just bananas and that headboard...literally rocks my world. I just adore everything!
and how fabulous and chic does Olatz look? Perfection!

My new Interior Design crush...Thai Cong

Ok honestly...I never thought that I would say this but I want this guy's apartment. Desperatley.
I usually love the homes of stylish women but man, this guy has got it going on.
MAJOR decorista bliss.
Thai Cong, the interior designer that did Carrie + Big's apartment on SATC2, is a rockstar!
I am just going gaga over his pad.
The wallpaper, the photography, the black + gold trimmed doors, the pops of yellow + aqua, all of it just speaks to me. I think his work is brilliant, so brilliant that I will stop writing and just let it speak for itself! enjoy!
