While in Vegas, I took some time out for myself to do a little shopping which I don't normally do. We stayed at the Aria Hotel and the shopping center has some pretty gorgeous shops. My favorite of them all was Kiki de Montparnasse. I am firm believer in having very fine robes & lingerie, its so empowering for us girls. The boutique is like walking into a girls dream dressing room, I was completely inspired by the gorgeous grey fabric everywhere, extravagant light fixtures, black and white toile dressers, hollywood style black armoires, peacock feather pendant lighting, oversized mirrors with excellent lighting, it even smelled incredible. Every detail was tended to and I'm left dying to create a room like this for myself. What is a bedroom without the proper feminine accoutrements?
Getaway to Miami: the Raleigh Hotel
In Austin last night there was a snow storm, its freezing & there is a layer of white ice all on the streets. This is so not my scene. I left NYC for the winter because I love the heat, I love a tropical vibe, every day of my life. Today, I'm all about booking a get away trip to the nearest tropical location & one of my best friends lives in Miami and has been dying for me to come visit. Hence, the Raleigh Hotel, one of the chicest hotels in my opinion. It's not only gorgeous & tropical but there is something nostalgic about it, the decor is a throw back to the Art Deco era. I love the pastel colors in the interiors in addition to the black and white contrast throughout.
If you like the whole vibe as much as I do, you can add a few pieces to your home and totally get the feeling.
You can put this black and white umbrella on your patio for a dose of fabulousness.
Then don a fab Alice & Olivia Romper, it will get you in that poolside vibe & throw on these E & J sunnies, too.
A palm leaf headboard will put a South Beach vibe into any room, perfect for a guest room.
Why not add a few of these cute Hennie chairs to your outdoor space & a blush pink garden stool to top off the look.
