Dining in Madrid, old hollywood glam style

Ever since I went to Madrid, I have been dreaming about going back. The first stop on my places to visit...The Restaurant La Terraza del Casino. This restaurant is designed by Hayon Studio and I am just blown away by the glamorous style.
I'm absolutely in love with the hostess desk, this bit geometric shaped white thing is just perfection. Topped off by a beautiful little gold lamp it makes such a grand statement.
The choices of chandeliers really set the tone for the space, all of the swag and old hollywood glamour that you could ask for.

My favorite part might be the diamond patterned mirrored wall. It is such a match made in heaven with the black and white checkered floor. Oh, and the oversized fruit art just does it for me too. So fresh.

The Decorista takes NY: Beauty and Essex

New York is just getting more exciting for me by the day. Regardless of the unimaginable heat, I keep discovering the most magical places AND the most decoratively delicious. This past weekend I got to thoroughly experience the beauty of Beauty and Essex. A fun and quirky vintage shop is the store front with the most beautiful one of a kind finds and a drool worthy guitar collection...

After gazing at the pretty trinkets you enter through chic double entryway doors and are transported into the most grand and swanky restaurant/lounge that I have yet been to. Soft and gleaming candle lights burn throughout the place and the incredible staircase is a sight for the eyes. The best part happens to lie underground, in the ladies lounge, where you are served complimentary bubbly and a yummy, leather chesterfield sofa sets as the perfect spot to gab with the girls.
The food...out of this world and The dessert...there are no words. Our favorite were these sugar coated doughnuts with chocolate nutella in the middle, it just melted in your  mouth.
If you find yourself in NYC, Beauty and Essex is worth the trip...especially with your best girlfriends.

The Decorista takes NY: Lure Fish Bar, Soho

Everything in New York has been fantastic. The shopping, the dinner parties, the mag launches (rue, high gloss and matchbook), the art galleries, I have been having such fun. So far, this restaurant I went to the other day, Lure Fish Bar, really stuck out to me. For one, the decor was uber fun...it felt like you were dining on a cruise ship. It was packed, the music was great (think old 90's cruise ship songs like Carribean Queen by Lionel Richie) and the food was absolutely delicious. I love this place and if you ever come visit nyc, its a definite must go, especially for the decor!

Bienvenido a Miami... and Welcome The Webster

It's finally here, the beginning of my 3-0 birthday extravaganza and we are celebrating in the gorgeous and fabulous (and one of my favorite cities)...Miami
Our first stop, The Webster, an extremely chic 20,000 square foot luxury multi-brand boutique located in the heart of Miami Beach, in a historical Art Deco building designed in 1939 by famed architect Henry Hohauser. Lately the Art Deco, 30's inspired look is all I can think about. I always love to see the way retail stores merchandised and design, so as you can imagine I am just dying to see this amazing store. With a gorgeous restaurant inside, we might just spend all day.
Who doesn't love shopping and brunch...am I right?
