Fashion inspired Friday: pretty patterned sofas

One thing I think about often is how very not bold when it comes to fashion. I'm pretty simple and classic but I do like to get a little crazy with jewelry, shoes and bags. However, when it comes to home decor I love being bold and lately I am just loving crazy fashion inspired patterned sofas. This is a surefire way to keep your home fashion forward and fabulously fresh. Here are a few I'd like to try out myself...

I'm sure we all remember this gorgeous magenta David Hicks patterned sofa from the pages of Domino...its always been high, high on my LUST LIST...

fashionista friday ALL ABOUT SUZANNE ON STYLE

Have you ever met someone and just instantly felt like kindred spirits?
I love when that happens, especially now that have an adopted big sister.

Totally inspired by this fashionista + decorista + domestic diva...Suzanne Marquez.
Such a triple threat!
I'm totally girl crushing on her chic laid back LA style.
You must check out her blog for pics of her fab home
(perfectly decorated by Woodson & Rummerfield, of course!)
and her amazing cooking tutorial videos.
This one is perfect for Thanksgiving holiday entertaining.

The Decorista Style File...what I want now!

Fresh off a fabulous Thursday evening of soirees (including a Veranda event), I am completely inspired by the cover of the new issue of Veranda. The gorgeous cover shot is a Miles Redd design and is over the top amazing. I love the way he used the beautiful emerald hue.
I am always inspired by decor when I shop for fashion and this season emerald green is on my radar.
I am so craving these delicious goodies...

Los Angeles Events: Gilt Groupe book party

You all know I just love a good book.
Last night, Gilt Home, CFDA, and Assouline celebrated, Rima Suqi’’s book,
American Fashion Designers at Home” at the Palihouse Hotel in West Hollywood.
In attendance were the lovely ladies of Rue, Rebecca Orlov, apartment therapy peeps and fashionistas galore!
Such a smashing time with style setting ladies!
Today on Gilt Groupe are Assouline’s colorful, scene-stealing books on art, travel, design, and culture. See for yourself with these titles, which include Megalomania: Too Much Is Never Enough, The Bikini Book, and The Well-Lived Life.  Plus snap up a rare signed copy of American Fashion Designers at Home, which offers an intimate look into the private quarters of icons such as Diane von Furstenburg, Cynthia Rowley, and Bob Mackie.

i absolutely love fashion. i love shopping, styling, wearing, and everything in between.
Lately, I have been on a vintage kick, scurrying around every thrift store in town to find the perfect pieces for my winter wardrobe.
Lookbook.nu is a fantastic site that shows real people, showing off their fashions.
It's amazing and sooo good for style inspiration.
After all my searching, i know i am in need of the perfect fur jacket (faux of course). :)
Happy Fashionizing!
