If you ever come over to my house, you walk in and it smells luxurious. I spray my lingerie with perfume, my sheets always are sprayed with an enjoyable scent and I most likely will give you a candle as a birthday present. I am big on smells and I think sometimes people forget the importance of the sense of smell. It's part of the overall home experience or even just life.
As I begin packing for an extended work trip and a little vacation, I've corralled a few essentials that will go inside of my main carryon. I'm currently reading the Garance Dore book and it is oh so good! My Chanel card holder is literally my life saver. Dior sunglasses are obviously a must and my Sony mirrorless camera rocks my world.
The one thing I swear by, is carrying perfume in my purse. At all times. You never know when you may need it or just need a refresher. My absolute favorite brand when it comes to perfume is Kilian. I am obsessed with absolutely everything about it. Everything is black and white and everything is made for luxury. So, I went by the new boutique the other day and picked myself up a little travel kit of one of my favorite fragrances that perfectly transitions you from Summer into Fall and that's "Good Girl Gone Bad".
The thing is, not that many people know about Killian perfume. I always get asked what I am wearing because they are such unique scents. The travel spray is an absolute essential for me because I am constantly on the go and it comes with 4 small refill bottles that I can keep in my purse. The white and gold atomizer is also so glam.
If you buy the big bottles, you get these chic little clutch purses with a snake on them. How luxurious is that?
Just recently, they have added a home candle line and a jewelry line. The jewelry has the fragrance inside, so your ears, neck and wrist can always be smelling fabulous without having to spray anything.
I also just want to give a little shout out to the Kilian sales girl, D. She literally walked right up to me and said "The Decorista!!! My daughter and I are your biggest fans". It totally warmed my heart, she was the most gorgeous soul. Not to mention beautiful and oh so stylish. Of course a Decorista reader would be working at the chicest perfume counter of all. ;)
