My latest project is a beautiful penthouse with an oversized living room area and my creative brain is going wild with imagination. So, I have been dying to use something different and my heart is upon these incredibly attractive sofas that are anything but standard...
This sofa below is what first started off my love affair...I love the shape and it just felt so right to have in this particular living room and now I just want to put one everywhere.
I do also like the geometric shape of this sofa too. Very chic.

I love all of these, especially the one in the photo with the cowhide rug. Also like the room by Delphine Krakoff. The curves of the sofa are nice against the lines of the painting.
I didn't think about a different shape of the sofa! this is new and elegant!

SOOO making a comeback. One of my clients offers a beautiful one. It seems so impractical, but I've seen them used in pairs and they are amazing. Talk about a feminine little conversation pit!
I think as long as you can float it in the room it can work. It's a more sophisticated version of the sectional and is a much more useful shape if you're going to sit and gather with girlfriends & chat!
side note: love that Lucite table over the zebra rug. Gorge!
totally agree. if i had the space, i have always wanted a curve sofa!
Just got a curved Kroehler sofa from Ebay to recover - you can find some great curved ones on there...
