My week has been incredibly hectic. Work, events, friends, emails, etc. I can't complain, God has blessed me with a full life but sometimes I think to myself I must take a minute and breathe and take it all in. In order to live in the "now", I have to remember to take some time for me. One of my favorite moments of the day is getting ready, it's truly where I get to focus totally on myself and reflect on things.
So, I have realized that I must create the ultimate vanity area...
and I should make sure to decorate it with beautiful and happy things. So inspired by well curated vanity areas. Perfume bottles, candles, jewelry boxes, pretty dishes, flowers, baubles, artwork etc.

What do you like to decorate your primping area with???

I love gorgeous antique trays, fashion/beauty books, several of my favorite perfumes and a few accent pieces of jewelry. I like to keep it minimalist with a few pops of color.
Have a wonderful weekend!
love the inspiration!!!
The perfect vanity is my next project as well! I'm still looking for the right table to paint white with gold accents. At least I have the mirror already. Someday... :)
Thanks for sharing your inspiration!
I have a great lighted cosmetic mirror that has 4 light settings, a little mirrored tissue box,and a mirrored tray with my eyeliners and brushes. Great post!

These pics are delish! Inspiration for me!
Great photos and I dream of a space like those to get ready but for now, I am all about simple, sleek and hidden. Empty counters and all behind closed doors but there is an appeal such as these!
Love this post! It gave me some inspiration in decorating my vanity area too! Thanks!

How ironic that I'm reading this post today, because after cleaning up my room today, I said to myself...I NEED A VANITY!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Perfume bottles on a tray. For now I have them in the jars they come in but one day I want to start collecting pretty empty ones so I can fill them up...I also did a post this wknd on storing nail polishes & cosmetics and I love the idea of using apothecary jars for polishes.
I have all my perfume bottles inside of a vintage birdcage. Love it!
