In New York we all know that space is super limited. Especially if you have a home office, you really have to get clever when it comes to space. Lately, I am loving secretary desks. My sweet little studio has room for a desk and I love it but I could really use the vertical space for storage and secretary desks provide so much storage. I am realizing what clever little things they are...
I love the modern look of this white secretary desk, and the ample space to style on top.

I die over amazing secretaries. My grandmother has the most stunning one tucked into the corner of her living room. Somehow its shelves are perfectly styled without any effort...if you consider 60 years of accumulating photos, books and newspaper clippings effortless. :) It's such a classic piece to incorporate into a space. I can't wait to have one in my home someday.
I am in love with these desks! I have a small antique one that my boyfriend's grandmother gave me when she was moving back to Charleston!
I love mine! I have the awesome Thomas O'Brian Hallings Secretary in my kitchen. It's used all the time- whether I'm doing project research or the kids doing their homework. I try not to use it as a catch all, but when I need a quick fix (unexpected guest)I can throw all my loose mail in and close the desk! Gotta love muli-pupose pieces!!

I've recently been obsessed with secretaries also! Mostly for inspiration...I was lucky enough to inherit my fabulous Grandma's secretary. It's a bit more basic than these glam loves, but it's super special to me. Thanks for sharing!!
