NYC House Tour: Stylish living in Brooklyn

Brooklyn is one of those places that you just can't hate. While I am a total Manhattan kind of girl, Brooklyn does have a small part of my heart. There are so many great restaurants, shops, things to do and see and I do have a heart for the hip people. The best part about Brooklyn...the space! I continually dream of living in a much, much bigger apartment and it seems as if I gave life in Brooklyn an opportunity, that dream just might come true.
This townhome featured in Architectural Digest totally gives me some inspiration. It's incredibly gorgeous...
Even with white walls the place is loaded with serious style. The artwork all over the walls is a huge part of what makes it so chic. Oh, and of course the pops of turquoise help too,
These deliciously glossy dark brown walls + tiger print chair are majorly FABULOUS!
How perfect are these red chairs in that garden area? In the springtime I bet this outdoor space is just killer. Wow. Doesn't it just make you want to move to Brooklyn?
well...not really but at least we can daydream.

ha! Ashlina, I love the post!!! I've lived in both and my heart is here in Brooklyn for sure ... the non-hipster, plain white tees outside the bodega, 3 guys start pushing a stalled car before it comes to a stop, dominos played on card tables in the summer, old guys flying pigeons on rooftops, grab a slice or a pie never a "pizza" kind of Brooklyn which is disappearing faster than Ratner can build luxury towers : /

I am in love with those red chairs!!!... are they undercover? or are they outdoor chairs that just look like indoor. Beautiful apartment, Brooklyn would be hard to pass by! Having said that you absolutely live in my favorite part of the world.

Wow! These look like screenshots from the Sims 3 video game. I also miss Brooklyn because the space I lived in there a few years ago, even though limited and cramped, is cozy and perfect for a single working gal like me!

I'm pretty sure that a good interior designer like you can take some ideas from these and make something better. More power to you!

What a gorgeous townhome. It gave me so many ideas for hanging art around my own townhouse.

Thanks for the post!
