I've said before how much I love to add color in bookcases by painting the back but there is always, always room for an all white bookcase. Letting the accessories and books be the brilliant color for the room can really be fab. I am loving the style of these all white bookcases, definitely done right.

I'm really loving that last one...that peachy/coral color and turquoise are fast becoming my favorite color combo!
I agree... although it is fun to add some color with paint, I really love the white bookcase! I have a crazy number of books, and I love all of the color they add to the living room. So nice to look at!

those bookcases are all gorgeous!
i love styled bookcases...everything looks so curated and magazine worthy.
but, my bookcases never last more than a couple of days styled...i love my books and am constantly pulling them out, thumbing through them, finding the perfect book to lend/recommend to a friend...
anyway, most book covers, and even their spines- to me - are a work of art in themselves and can stand alone without a lot of fluffing....
love is blind & i do love my (bizillions) of books!

You just gotta love libraries! I adore walls that are filled with books and to have with shelves brings unexpected light into a library. Personally, I prefer the old English style, but if I ever had room for a second library, I'd give this a long thought.
I spy three of those adorable Kate Spade posey vases in picture number 2 :) They are on my wish list too Ashlina.
The white looks great, have also seen black in the background which can look quite elegant in the right space. Thanks for sharing..
