my style formula...Eclectic Glamour

Inspired my Sketch42's Nicole & her fabulous post about her style formula,
I decided to share mine with you...I define my style as
ECLECTIC GLAMOUR

one part feminine romance...
one part bold & decadent color (like Miles Redd)
part tradition & sophistication (like Mary McDonald)
a hint of shine & gold (like Kelly Wearstler)
and tons of vintage glamour (like Woodson & Rummerfield)!
and just a teeny bit of trendy
its totally hard to define...because I really love it all!

I always knew we had the same style, just with a bit more color on my end.

Me too!! I loved all of your choices and got some great ideas for my house.. particularly the Asian cabinet for an office..that's fab! And that sumptuous bedroom.. that bed, that faux fur blanket and that mirror and that sparkly dress form.. LOVE IT TO PIECES!!

Thanks for sharing.

I also love the quote, "..large-scale items create a sense of grandeur in a smaller home." How does one create a look of grandeur without the house feeling and/or looking cramped and stuffed? I love large scale and grand but want it to look elegant and on purpose not haphazard and terrible. Any suggestions?
