so true! I had a group of friends who were all well... wasters. On drugs every night, sleeping all day because of the drugs. Claiming money off the government, enrolling in pointless courses at college just to get money for it and to get their parents off their back.

I walked away from them and felt really nasty telling myself I didn't want to hang around with people who have no ambition. This just made me feel better.

I love that! I also write a fitness blog that is read by many people who are trying to lose weight. I will be sharing this quote with them as often they relate stories of how others have belittled their efforts.

SO true. Needed that today! I was actually trying to think of the first line of that quote for a friend last night! Serendipitous. I think we all hang on to friends who may not be good for us until either something negative happens or we read something like this...and realize we're better off without them! ;)
