Dear Decorista, {how to decorate like Kelly Wearstler}

Dear Decorista,

Hi Ashlina,
I absolutely love your blog! I was wondering if you could help me with a design delima? I decided to paint my home office like Kelly Wearstler’s foyer (crazy raspberry graffiti like swirls). It came out wonderful! However I am completely stuck on where to go from here. I have a desk from Ikea that is a white base and a black and white glass top. Other than that, I bought a bunch of white and black accessories. I was thinking of going pool blues and turquoises but then I was thinking maybe purples, oranges and yellows could be cool? I don’t know, I’d love your input!
Kiki
How creative is this girl? I wish I could pull off painting my home office like that. I love it!
Which is why I would love feedback from my readers!
She gave me 2 options of color ways. I have my ideas, but I am curious to know
Which colors do you think she should accessorize with?

Option #1

Option #2

she is such a trendsetter, isn't she? total rockstar!

Option #1 zigzagpillow, jonathanadler.com; geo nesting bowls, shopfurbish.com; pink rug, madeline; aqua lamp, arteriors; blue crab watercolor, LauraTrevey.com.
Option #2 Love candy print, madebygirl.com; pink ikat pillow, shopfurbish.com; yellow finnials, zgallerie; yellow zebra rug, thisnext.com

I say the blue! Love aqua and pink together!

I would go for option #2. It's much more punchy which I thnk is what she's going for. And recover or replace that chair stat! It's making me sad...

tough choice! you have put together two beautiful palettes! I love love love the yellow, but I think if Kiki wants the whole "Kelly Wearstler" package, go with the blue... that credenza that KW is sitting on in that pic seals the deal!

Option 2. Without hesitation.
I also agree with Brandi. That chair just isn't working out, and it's making me sad too.

You can't go wrong with either option, but I do love the inclusion of yellow!

I love her guts to do this!! I really think bright colours would make this look amazing - a fuschia chair, a yellow lamp.. go crazy! But option 2 wins it for me.

Wonderful suggestions Ashilna! It would be so hard to choose which color scheme to go with, they are both so perfect.

I love how girly the moodboards you made are. I need my own office so I can have a feminine space in my home!
