Yep. It's true.
I have always loved the zebra pattern and have been looking for an affordable option to throw and fit in my bedroom! I was so happy to have found the perfect match. So the lovely people at RugsUSA are readers of The Decorista and wanted to give one lucky reader of my blog the chance to win the same awesome zebra rug that I got. (It's approximately 3'10" x 5'7")

you KNOW how much I love a zebra print rug...and like yourself cannot really afford the real deal just yet...and this will totally solve the problem of me constantly moving my zebra rug I have at the moment around the house...because I love it in every room...so it gets dragged around alot between my study and the living area. And why would I loooove this rug - well the zebra one wouldn't exactly work in my house HOWEVER the other option would be an absolute match made in heaven in my loungeroom. Wow! What a beautiful rug! I am a part-time interior decorator (full-time English teacher), and I've been reading your blog with delight for about 3 months now. You have a knack for finding fantastic images of beautiful decor.
I would love to have a zebra-striped rug for two reasons: 1)I love it, and 2)I am getting married this year, and my fiance adores both exotic animals and a black and white scheme. In the latter, we are similar. My current living room is done primarily in black and white, with bits of blue, gold, and silver. I have a black piano, white armchair covered with a shag throw, black bookshelves, and black-and-white photos ranging from Spanish architecture to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, to Italian vignettes, to ballet, all framed in black frames with white matting all around the room. To section the living area from the kitchen, I hung thick black and white tapestry curtains from the ceiling to the floor, so that the two spaces could maintain their separate and unique flavors. I love my living room, and the zebra-striped rug would be the perfect finishing touch. After the wedding, it might end up in our bedroom. :)

As for what I'd do with the rug - I desperately need something for our dining room. I have to admit I just stumbled ono your page today... and when I saw this rug I knew right away this is my type of blog to follow. I absolutely love everything you have done here. Winning this rug would mean so much to me. I have been on a hunt for a rug exactly like this for over two years now, but you see I'm on quite a tight budget and have not been able to afford the perfect one such as this.
